John McFarlane

John McFarlane holds an MA from the University of Edinburgh, an MBA, and an honorary DSc from Cranfield University. He is chair of Aviva and director of Old Oak Holdings in the UK. He was chief executive of Australia & New Zealand Banking Group, group executive director of Standard Chartered, and head of Citibank NA in the UK and Ireland. Mr McFarlane was a non-executive director of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group, Capital Radio, the London Stock Exchange, chair of the Australian Bankers Association and President of the International Monetary Conference.
