Anglo Australian’s Kalgoorlie gold play is hurtling headlong towards a maiden resource after multiple successful passes with the drill rig produced gold intersections going up to 6 ounces to the tonne just 14km from the super pit. The project is located on the Norseman-Wiluna Belt which plays host to a number of major deposits including the 3moz New Celebration and 15m ounce St Ives gold mines.

Anglo Australian Resources has identified a new 200m long zone of mineralisation parallel and to the west of the very prospective Ethereal Shear Zone at its Feysville Gold Project, just 14km south of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. The best result from the drilling campaign was a 20m intersection grading 2.41g/t gold from 96m at the main Think Big prospect.

Anglo Australian has outlined a suite of shallow new drilling intersections from several prospects at its Feysville gold project located near Kalgoorlie. At Think Big, results included 28m @ 2.43g/t gold from 35m down-hole, whilst exploratory drilling at Saintly doubled the strike length of that mineralisation. A new gold discovery was also located at Hyperno, with 13m @ 1.05g/t gold returned from 25m down-hole in regional aircore drilling.

Anglo Australian Resources has defined a mineralised gold zone over 2.5km long and up to 250m wide at its Mandilla project located near Kambalda in WA. The company is now on the hunt for the bedrock source of the mineralisation, which it believes lies at the sheared geological contact between a granite and a sedimentary sequence that will undergo future deep drill testing, according to Anglo.

Anglo Australian Resources has outlined a maiden mineral resource of 2.86 million tonnes grading 1.3g/t gold for 116,100 gold ounces at its Feysville project, 14km from Kalgoorlie, WA. The new estimate is complemented by excellent metallurgical results for the deposit’s ores, which show a 99.5% recovery for the near-surface, supergene gold mineralisation that makes it ideal for potential toll milling options in the immediate area.

Anglo Australian Resources has commenced RC drilling at its Koongie Park project near Halls Creek, WA, with holes targeting the Bulldog and Nicolsons East prospects where quartz vein outcrops have recorded high-grade gold values. The project has geology that is similar to Pantoro Limited’s neighbouring Nicolsons Gold Project, which currently produces about 55,000 ounces of gold per annum.

Anglo Australian Resources has intersected encouraging, high-grade gold intersections at its Mandilla East and Mandilla South prospects, part of the Mandilla gold project located 75km south of Kalgoorlie, WA. At Mandilla East, multiple intercepts were returned beneath an existing supergene zone, including 2.7m @ 46.1g/t gold from 123.3m down-hole, which incorporated a metre intersection grading 122.3g/t gold from 124.3m.

Anglo Australian Resources’ diamond drilling campaign at its Mandilla East gold prospect near Kalgoorlie has returned a wide interval of 60.2 metres grading 3.79 grams per tonne gold from 65.8m down-hole and 64.7m @ 0.71g/t gold from 183m in the same drill hole. The company added that Mandilla East may be suitable for a future bulk tonnage, low-grade, open cut gold mining operation.

Anglo Australian looks like it is well and truly onto something now at its Mandilla East project near Kambalda in Western Australia. Latest eye-catching drill intersections include a staggering 112m-wide zone going 1.5 g/t gold from just 41m down-hole and a 93m-wide hit going 3.11 g/t gold from 49m. Anglo is now working double time to unearth the full extent of this remarkable mineralised zone.

Anglo Australian has shown that its previously announced 112m drill hit near Kambalda going 1.5 g/t gold was no fluke. This week, the John Jones led explorer has hit pay dirt again with a 163m drill intersection grading 1.75 g/t gold. Confidence is now building in the consistency and tonnages of the gold mineralisation at Anglo’s Mandilla East project where the rods will be turning for some time.

It is difficult to know just how many golden secrets Anglo Australian’s Mandilla Gold project might still be hiding with recent drilling potentially identifying an 800-metre-long new target in the “Western Zone”, with results like 37m @ 1.64g/t gold from 104m. The new Western Zone is just to the west of Anglo’s Mandilla East deposit which is also growing in stature and size.

Metallurgist and mining executive, Marc Ducler, has taken the helm at Anglo Australian Resources whilst experienced mining lawman, Leigh Warnick, has been appointed Chairman. John Jones, Peter Stern and David Varcoe will remain on the board as part of a pre-Xmas peace deal that saw the warring parties place their batton’s back in their knapsacks and appoint the largely independent team of Ducler and Warnick to spearhead the company.
