The secret to successfully managing an expanding privately owned business is to act like it’s public, according to John Georgiou.
John Georgiou has more than 27 years of experience in the construction and property development management industry. Upon his appointment as chief executive in 1998, he consolidated the operational activities of Direct Drainage, Roadpave Australia and Geocrete into one entity - Georgiou Group. His extensive experience in business development, strategic planning and organisational development has resulted in the company’s steady growth and geographical expansion into the East Coast of Australia. Mr Georgiou stepped down as the group's chief executive in 2018, however maintains an active role in the company as chairman.
