John Fitzgerald has over 25 years of experience in the senior management of for-profit and not-for-profit organisations.
He held various roles including as Australasian marketing director for a multinational pharmaceutical company, chief operating officer of a local biotechnology startup, executive manager of corporate services of a WA Community Services organisation, and chief operating officer at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.
Mr Fitzgerald holds a Masters in Business Administration and an Honours degree in Science from the University of Western Australia.
