Polly Farmer dies, aged 84
AFL legend Graham 'Polly' Farmer has passed away in Fiona Stanley Hospital, following a prolonged battle with Alzheimer's disease.
After retiring from Argyle Diamonds in 1994, John Cunningham joined Fred Chaney and Ron Edwards in establishing the Graham (Polly) Farmer Foundation and served as its inaugural chief executive from 1994 to 2008. He was instrumental in bringing on board key people and partners, many of whom continue to support the Foundation and its work in empowering young Aboriginal people.
