John Clancy is a principal structural engineer responsible for civil design, structural design, supervising documentation preparation, quality assurance and the certification of commercial, residential and industrial building projects, with an emphasis on reinforced concrete structures.
He has worked on the civil and structural design of several schools in Western Australia, for both the private and public sectors, providing increased community infrastructure. He has also worked on Western Australia’s largest shopping centres, improving the retail sector of Perth and has a keen interest in sporting and recreational projects.
Mr Clancy has contributed to the sharing of innovations in concrete design and the maximising of new technologies for use in construction by organising technical evening seminars and networking events. He has also presented at a number of technical seminars and conferences for the Concrete Institute of Australia and The Australasian Corrosion Association.
Mr Clancy holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering, a degree in Structural Engineering, and a Master research degree in Environmental Engineering.
