Joey Armenti is a strongly credentialled public relations specialist who has worked in government, media and strategic communications for more than two decades.
During this time, he has worked at senior levels with a variety of clients including property developers, transport industry organisations, public utilities, medical companies and infrastructure providers.
Prior to joining SEC Newgate, Mr Armenti was heavily involved in significant campaigns in WA including planning, managing and implementing the campaign for Andrew Denton’s Go Gentle Australia, in support of WA’s voluntary assisted dying legislation, the campaign against a proposed iron ore tax in 2017 on behalf of Rio Tinto, BHP, Chamber of Minerals and Energy and the Minerals Council of Australia and strategic lobbying to defeat a proposed gold tax also in 2017.
Mr Armenti is a former Liberal Government principal adviser and strategist, with experience across a range of portfolios including Environment, Transport, Corrective Services, Police, Education and Local Government and helped run many successful campaigns for the Liberal Party between 2006 and 2016.
