ABC Refinery hires Perth Mint team
Sydney-based ABC Refinery has poached three senior Perth Mint employees to join its treasury and trading team as it ramps-up its competition with the government-owned business.

Group Treasurer / ABC Refinery
Joe Metcalfe was appointed group treasurer of ABC Refinery in May 2020. Prior to that, he had an 8-year tenure at Perth Mint which included the roles of deputy chief executive, chief commercial officer, treasurer and director of business development. He was also the global head of bullion at ANZ and treasurer of AGR Matthey.
