Specialising in insolvency and reconstruction, Joe Abberton has worked primarily in advising insolvency practitioners and financiers across all aspects of receiverships, liquidations and administrations. Before joining Lavan in 2007, Mr Abberton worked for the former PPB partnership where he attained his CA qualifications and was involved in a wide range of insolvency appointments. He is also the deputy chair of the WA Division of the Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association (formerly the IPA).
