Jock Muir has over 30 years’ experience in global mining services companies. He was chair of NSL Consolidated from 2009 to 2014, and rejoined the board again as chair in 2017. Mr Muir was non-executive director of Dyno Nobel prior to its acquisition by Incitec Pivot. He was President of Dyno Nobel’s Asia Pacific operations, Senior Vice President of Global Initiation Systems and held various executive marketing positions. He was also managing director of Mitchell Cotts Australia, a mining engineering company. Mr Muir was appointed non-executive director of Barminco in 2011 and acted as chief executive officer from February 2012 until February 2013 until a formal appointment had been made.
