Joanne Pellew is the founder and chief executive of Ochre Workforce Solutions. After starting her first business in Broome at the age of 21, Ms Pellew went on to establish Australia’s first dedicated Aboriginal labour hire company and the first online jobs board for Aboriginal people. In November 2019, Ms Pellew was disqualified and banned by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission from managing companies for five years, following the collapse of Ochre Training, Ochre Training WA and Ochre Workforce Solutions.
