Jim Tarlton is the technical director of Tamarind Resources (“Tamarind”). He has over 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including 15 years in Southeast Asia. Mr Tarlton was vice president, operations, for Talisman Energy in Malaysia, and had also acted as its country manager. He held numerous senior operational management roles in Norway, Indonesia, Canada and the UK, and is a co-founder and director of Well Experts Services, a technical partner of Tamarind. Mr Tarlton holds a BA Science (Honours) in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University, Canada.
