Jim Cathcart

Jim Cathcart was the director of Fremantle Arts Centre from October 2005 to September 2020 and oversaw the centre's substantial growth in programming and operations.

He is a committee member at ART ON THE MOVE, board member of Polyglot Children’s Theatre in Melbourne, chair of Kage Physical Theatre in Melbourne, and was on the steering committees for the Chamber of Arts and Culture WA's research into Local Government and the Craft Sector.

He has worked in the arts for 30 years as director and chief executive, general manager, venue manager, producer, programmer, artists’ manager, journalist and publicist.
