Jessica Shaw is the Labor Party Member of the Western Australia Legislative Assembly for Swan Hills.
Following Labor's win in the 2021 state election, she became the Parliamentary Secretary to David Templeman, the Minister for Tourism, Culture & the Arts, and Heritage under the McGowan government. In the 2022 cabinet reshuffle, Ms Shaw became the Parliamentary Secretary to Roger Cook, the Deputy Premier; Minister for State Development, Jobs and Trade; Hydrogen Industry; Tourism; Science.
Following the resignation of Mr McGowan in June 2023, Ms Shaw kept her portfolio as Parliamentary Secretary to Roger Cook - now the Premier and Minister for State & Industry Development, Jobs & Trade, Public Sector Management, and Federal-State Relations - under the Cook government.
Ms Shaw is a businesswoman with a successful career in the resources and energy sector.
