Goldfields arts festival set to soar
A new festival in the Goldfields aims for long-term tourism opportunities.
Jessica Machin has extensive experience in the arts and community cultural development, particularly in areas involving working with Indigenous artists and communities, children and young people. She is recognised nationally and internationally as a successful advocate and fund raiser for the arts.
Ms Machin was executive director of the West Australian Ballet from June 2016 to November 2020, following on from her role as chief executive of Country Arts WA for over 8 years. She is also a director of Regional Arts Australia, the national peak body for Regional Arts. In February 2021, Ms Machin became the director of regions for WA Museum Boola Bardip.
