Jessica Carney was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Western Australia in April 2013.
She has worked in the Perth family law sector since her first year of tertiary study in 2008. Following completion of her degree, Ms Carney became an associate to the late Honourable Justice Carolyn Martin and the Honourable Justice Brian Jordan at the Family Court of Western Australia before practising family law and various other areas of law, including family violence restraining orders, in the South West region of Western Australia.
Ms Carney returned to Perth in October 2014 and practised solely in family law. She spent 6 years with Carr & Co Divorce and Family Lawyers before becoming a senior associate of Hickman Family Lawyers in October 2020.
