Dr Jennifer Halton began at the Imperial College London in May 2018, first at the Imperial Cancer Research UK Centre and then at Scale Space as head of growth and partnerships from April 2020 to April 2021 and as chief impact officer at the Centre for Entrepreneurial Research and Innovation (CERI) from May 2021 to September 2022. Prior to that, Dr Halton was the founder and creative director of the Metamorphosis Project in Ireland. Funded by the Irish Research Council, the project was a cross-sectoral initiative that brought together artists, academics and industry to explore collaboration and practice-led research to lessen the gap in public engagement with higher education in Ireland.
Dr Halton had spent about a year in Perth working at Curtin University and Leadership WA before moving to the UK. She is back in Perth and became chief impact officer of the Centre for Entrepreneurial Research and Innovation in May 2021. She remains an innovation strategy consultant for the Office of Innovation and Engagement at the National University of Ireland.
Dr Halton holds a Masters and PhD in Cultural Studies from Maynooth University.
