Kennett and Malone join Seven
Seven West Media has made four new board appointments including former Victorian premier Jeff Kennett and iiNet founder Michael Malone.
The Honourable Jeff Kennett AC is a former Australian politician. He is a non-executive director of Seven West Media, as well as being chair of PFD Food Services and Primary Opinion. Mr Kennett was the founder and non-executive chair of BeyondBlue for 17 years. In June 2017, former prime minister Julia Gillard took over the role of chair from Mr Kennett after having served on its board since 2014. He also serves as a consultant to the Singapore Tourism Board's International Advisory Council for Tourism. Mr Kennett was awarded the Companion of the Order of Australia in 2005, an Honorary Doctorate in Business (honoris causa) by Ballarat University in 2000, and an Honorary Doctorate of Laws (honoris causa) by Deakin University in 2014.
