Verve recruits new CEO internally
State-owned power generator Verve Energy has replaced its boss internally, appointing Jason Waters as its new chief executive.
Jason Waters has over 30 years of experience in Western Australia’s energy sector.
Prior to becoming the chief executive of Perth Airport in later 2023, Mr Waters was chief executive of Perth Mint for 1.5 years, chief executive of Synergy in January 2014 following the merger between Synergy and Verve Energy (where he was chief executive), and held senior positions at Western Power including as chief commercial officer.
