Jason Pugh has been involved in waste-to-energy projects and worked within the water- & wastewater-related industries since 1998.
He became the Western Australian representative of UK-based John Laing Group in February 2020, managing the East Rockingham Water-To-Energy project. Prior to that, Mr Pugh spent over 9 years at New Energy Corporation, including over 6 years as chief executive. He was also the business development manager of Hatch Associates and QED (Australia) where he managed the company's initial public offering in August 2001. QED purchased Occtech and formed QED Occtech in 2002 to provide water and wastewater services to companies such as Rio Tinto, Minara Resources, BHP and CSBP.
Mr Pugh was a key member of "Best Solutions LLC", a US-based joint venture operation between QED, Cargill and Smithfield Foods.
