Jarrad Oakley-Nicholls, founder and managing director of Oaks Civil Construction, is a proud Aboriginal man with family and cultural ties to Malgana and Amangu (Yamatji), Wiradjuri (Koori), Noongar and Kija (East Kimberly’s) traditional owner groups. Mr Oakley-Nicholls has extensive experience in Aboriginal employment services and business development. He spent over 9 years working with industry leaders in the civil & build construction and mining industry, State Government and the Federal Government. Mr Oakley-Nicholls was drafted into the AFL in 2005 to the Richmond Tigers Football Club at the age of 17, debuted in 2006, and spent 4 years with the club. He then went on to play for West Coast Eagles and 125 games with East Perth Football club in the West Australia Football League.
