Jane McNamara has over 17 years of experience in communication, media, public relations, stakeholder engagement, government relations, issues and crisis management across a variety of private and public organisations in the health, local and state government, education and telecommunications sectors. Her career in communication and media began in 1999 where she was a journalist and editor for some of Australia’s print news organisations. Ms McNamara joined the National Broadband Network (NBN Co) in 2015 as community affairs manager for Western Australia and the Northern Territory. She became a part of a national team called nbn™ local, formed in late 2017, and is responsible for media, stakeholder engagement, government and community affairs.
