Jane Ballard has been with Herbert Smith Freehills since February 2010. She was a senior associate at the Perth office's corporate team and became a partner in May 2023. Ms Ballard had previously worked in the firm’s London office, and is qualified in England and Australia.
Ms Ballard advises clients on transactions and projects within the energy and natural resources sectors including in relation to oil and gas, pipelines, power, renewables, decarbonisation, new energy and mining. Within these sectors, her experience covers mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, project development, commodity sales and transportation.
