Jan Castro

Jan Castro is the chief executive of Pala Investments AG, the exclusive advisor to Pala Investments Holdings which is a multi-strategy investment company dedicated to investing in, and creating value across, the mining sector in developed and emerging markets. Prior to founding Pala in July 2006, Mr Castro was senior vice president of investments and corporate affairs for Mechel OAO, a NYSE-listed company and one of Russia's largest mining and metals companies listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
