James Westcott has over 25 years of experience in engineering, primarily in the oil & gas industry in Australia, UK, Norway, Denmark and The Netherlands, covering project management, business development, subsea operations, mechanical design, and offshore construction. He is the 2017 WA President of the Institute of Engineers Australia, and a director & engineering manager of Atkins Australasia. Having worked with Clough, Brown&Root and Saipem, Mr Westcott completed a management leadership programme with Pratt & Whitney jet engines and carried out internal consulting, business development and strategy roles for United Technologies Corporation in USA. He was the project director for the development of an advanced prototype electric vehicle based on the BMW Mini, before joining Integrated Energy as principal consultant and supporting Santos, Woodside and Rio Tinto on several projects. Mr Westcott has a First Class degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Western Australia, an MBA from INSEAD in France, chartership as an engineer in the UK and Australia, a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers Australia, a member of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology, and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
