James Wallbank has led Ibaera since the formation of the fund in 2012. He was the manager of business development at Fortescue Metals Group, responsible for the acquisition of new non-iron investments in Australia and internationally. Prior to joining FMG, Mr Wallbank was manager of iron ore at WorleyParsons, one of the largest iron ore project delivery businesses with over 30,000 staff. Mr Wallbank has a Master of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management (2004) and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Adelaide (1988).
