Jean-Philippe Fortin is a specialist slurry pipeline engineer and subject matter expert with over 23 years of complete project lifecycle experience. He has consulted on the design and implementation of over 20 long-distance slurry pipelines currently in commercial operation across 15 countries.
Mr Fortin's field experience includes involvement in the commissioning and start-up of four major long distance slurry pipeline assets in Brazil, India, Peru and Australia. He also has practical and hands-on experience in numerous premature pipeline failure assessments, operational audits, risk assessment, erosion and corrosion modelling, and capacity expansion.
Mr Fortin established Fortin Pipelines in 2021, and is its managing director.
