Ivor Frischknecht

Ivor Frischknecht was the chief executive of the Australian Renewable Energy Agency from August 2012 to August 2018. Mr Frischknecht holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from the University of Sydney, and a Master of Business Administration and Public Management Certificate from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He was an investment director of Starfish Ventures, a venture capital firm that manages $400 million primarily on behalf of Australian superannuation funds. He was also director of new ventures at Idealab, a company involved in developing and investing in technology startup companies including renewable energy companies.
