Igor van de Griendt

Non-Executive Director / Catapult Group International

Igor van de Griendt is the co-founder and non-executive director of Catapult.

Prior to that, he was a project manager for the Cooperative Research Centres (CRC) for MicroTechnology which, in collaboration with the Australian Institute of Sport, developed several sensor platforms and technologies.

Mr van de Griendt also ran his own consulting business for more than 13 years, providing engineering services to technology companies including NY-listed Redflex Communications Systems (now part of Exelis), ASX-listed Ceramic Fuel Cells, Ericsson Australia, Siemens, NEC Australia and Telstra.

Mr van de Griendt is also the author of numerous patents and patent applications in athlete tracking and other sensor technologies.
