Ian Levy

Ian Levy is the managing director and chief executive of Australian Bauxite. He has over 30 years of senior management experience with small to large mining companies including WMC, Pancontinental Mining, and Gympie Gold. As chief executive of Allegiance Mining, he was involved in the development of bauxite, gold, coal, base metals, nickel and industrial minerals projects from discovery to marketing. Mr Levy was chair of Dynasty Metals Australia and director of Gloucester Coal. He was also a member of the Joint Ore Reserves Committee (JORC) for 11 years including 4 years as vice chairman and federal president of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists.
