Iain Ross has over 15 years of mining and exploration experience in Australia and Southern Africa. He also has managerial, operational and geological experience.
Starting as a field geologist in Tibet, Mr Ross moved to Australia to manage brownfields exploration in RAB, RC and DDH, successfully targeting gold up to 1500m below surface. In the Pilbara, he was part of a team that delineated >347Mt of iron ore and managed drilling into remote manganese anomalies. In Namibia, he managed a mine site, delineating >17Mt of manganese. In Hong Kong, Mr Ross gained experience in economic geology; working in M&A, project evaluation, marketing and deal structuring. As the exploration manager for Australian Vanadium and a director of South African Lithium, Mr Ross led drilling in the Northern Cape of South Africa before taking on the Australian exploration requirements of completing a PFS and subsequent DFS.
Mr Ross is a Fellow of the Geological Society, a member of the AusIMM, and holds a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours.
