Iain Macpherson

John (Iain) Macpherson trained as a mining engineer at the Royal School of Mines and has extensive operational experience throughout Southern, Western and Central Africa, Western and Eastern Europe and Russia. His early career was with Gold Fields in Southern and Western Africa where he rose to senior operational roles before moving onto the junior mining sector.
In his career he has been instrumental in developing a number of mining projects including several IPOs and associated financing, specifically on the London, UK and North American markets and has developed a network of private and institutional investors, including a number of major banks.
