I-Lyn Loo
Chief Executive / Western Australian Meat Industry Authority
I-Lyn Loo was appointed chief executive of the Western Australian Meat Industry Authority in 2023, prior to which she was acting chief executive of the Wheatbelt Development Commission
Born and raised in Penang, Malaysia, she moved to Perth as a Year 12 student. She holds a first class honours degree in Environmental Engineering and Physics from the University of Western Australia, a Master of Environmental Management from the University of Adelaide and a Class 1 Operational Meteorologist Certification from the World Meteorological Organisation.
Ms Loo served as principal policy adviser to the WA Minister for Agriculture and Food from 2017 to 2019.
