Hugh Thomson is the managing director of Moelis Australia's advisory businesses. Prior to that, he was the chief operating officer of Moelis Australia.
Mr Thomson has over 24 years of experience in investment management, with a particular emphasis on the acquisition of alternative assets, finance and operations in Australia across a range of industry sectors. He also has expertise in managing ASX-listed funds including as an executive board member, and chair of investment committees and operational risk management committees.
He was previously chief financial officer and chief executive of ING Real Estate Investment Management, chief operating officer of HiLife Health & Beauty, and chief financial officer of Industrie Clothing.
