Howard Healy is an experienced litigator specialising in the resolution of building and construction disputes for principals, contractors and consultants; as well as other general commercial disputes relating to trade practices, insurance, product liability and negligence. He also provides front-end advice to clients in the construction, industrial and mining industries on drafting and negotiating contracts. Between 2007 and 2012, Mr Healy was general counsel and company secretary of WesTrac group of industrial and mining services companies. Prior to that, he was senior associate of Clayton Utz’s major projects group. Mr Healy has been recognised in the 2018 and 2019 Australian Edition of Best Lawyers, under the category of “Litigation”.
