Guy Perkins

Guy Perkins has over 25 years of experience in the global geospatial industry in Europe, Asia, North America, Australia and New Zealand. He is a civil engineer and an active participant in the geospatial industry community.

Mr Perkins was the managing director of ESRI Australia, chief executive of ER Mapper, chief operation officer at Nearmap, and held various executive management roles with MapInfo, Hexagon, and 1Spatial.

He was a founding director of the Australian Spatial Information Business Association (SIBA). He was also a member of the Research Investment Review Board of the Cooperative Research Centre – Spatial Information (CRC–SI) and has been appointed chair of the advisory board at Curtin University, School of Spatial Sciences.
