Guy Anderson

Dr Guy Anderson spent several years working in the mining industry for De Beers and Anglo American, including a two-year period with Consolidated Diamond Mines in Namibia, before relocating to the UK and refocusing his career. He qualified as a chartered accountant with PriceWaterhouse in London and, after five years with the firm, moved into stockbroking and spending two years with James Capel. Dr Anderson then moved to CIBC World Markets in London where he became an executive director in the mining M&A and advisory business. He has considerable experience on the execution side of the investment banking business, having been closely involved in a significant number of mining deals, primarily in Africa and Europe.
