Guido Belgiorno-Nettis AM has experience in engineering and construction operations and is also joint managing director of Transfield Holdings which changed business focus in 2001 from engineering and construction to private equity. Leading up to this change, he held a number of key positions within the Transfield Group including managing director, chief executive of Transfield Engineering and Construction, and project development director. In 2015, Mr Belgiorno-Nettis started his own family business, Angophora Capital. He is chair of the Australian Chamber Orchestra and a Member of the Australian School of Business Advisory Council. Mr Belgiorno-Nettis was named a Member of the Order of Australia in 2007 for services to the construction industry and the arts. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from UNSW and an MBA from AGSM, and is a fellow of Engineers Australia.
