Gregory Vesey held senior executive roles in the international energy sector through a distinguished career of 35 years with Chevron and Texaco. He was president of Chevron Natural Gas & vice president of Gas Supply and Trading from 2011 to 2015. In this role, based in Houston, he was responsible for Chevron’s Global LNG, natural gas, and natural gas liquid marketing and trading activity. As president of Chevron Global Power Company, he led a business unit which held a portfolio of commercial power plants and projects in the US, Asia, Middle East and Europe. Prior to that, he led Chevron Technology Ventures for five years where he was responsible for creating a portfolio of new opportunities in technology commercialization, emerging energy and Chevron's venture capital investing.
Mr Vesey holds a Bachelor of Business degree from Northwestern State University of Louisiana.
In 2015, he completed a four-year term on the board of the Natural Gas Supply Association of America which is based Washington DC, the last two years of which he served as chairman. He serves on two non-profit boards, Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas and the Alley Theatre in Houston.
