Greg Madson has experience of disability having lost his sight for more than 30 years. He was fortunate to have opportunities from volunteering in the not-for-profit sector, with a special interest in governance within the disability sector in WA and nationally. Mr Madson is president of People with Disabilities WA, vice president of the Australian Federation of Disability Organisations, president of WA Blind Sports Federation, and a member of the Lotterywest disability equipment Grant Sector Advisory Group. He has knowledge and expertise in the areas of information technology, adaptive technology (including training), public speaking, sport (competed in the 1996 Paralympics), business, recreation, transport, employment, education, governance and policy.
