Downer signs $3b deal with FMG
Shares in Downer EDI gained almost four per cent after the engineering firm said it won a six-year contract worth $3 billion to provide mining services to Fortescue Metals Group.
Grant Fenn was appointed managing director & chief executive of Downer in July 2010, having been chief financial officer for a year prior. He has over 20 years of experience in operational management, strategic development and financial management, having previously held a number of senior positions with Qantas during a 15-year tenure.
