Graham Butler has over 30 years of industry experience in rail operations across Australia. He had held senior executive roles with Railtrain, Pacific National, and Skilled Group.

Since September 2010 Mr Butler has been the executive director of Railtrain, with overall responsibility for its extensive rail industry operations including its Registered Training Organisation.

Mr Butler joined the WHS Foundation as a board member in June 2019 and became president in December 2021.
