Graham Arvidson is a mechanical engineer with over 18 years of experience in the minerals sector. He has held key leadership roles including project studies, design, construction, commissioning and operations management.
Prior to becoming the chief executive of Australian Vanadium in October 2022, Mr Arvidson was the general manager of operations and maintenance for Primero Group and specialises in project development, operational turnarounds, and optimisation of mineral processing operations with complex metallurgy. He has also held senior leadership roles through the development and operational phases of the Nova Nickel Project (Sirius Resources, IGO).
Mr Arvidson holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta, an MBA and a Master of Science in Mineral Economics from the Curtin University. He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a longstanding member of AusIMM.
