Dr Gordon de Brouwer has over 30 years of experience holding senior leadership positions in public policy including at the federal Departments of Environment and Energy Department (Portfolio Secretary); Prime Minister and Cabinet (Associate Secretary); and Treasury (Visiting Professor, Assistant Secretary and First Assistant Secretary). He has also held senior positions at the Australian National University (ANU) and the Reserve Bank of Australia.
Dr de Brouwer's areas of professional policy expertise are natural resource management; climate change and energy policies; macro, financial and international economics and policy; international organisations (especially the G20); institutional design and governance; and public-sector management and reform.
