Godson Njoku joined Shell in 2002 and has broad experience across the upstream and downstream businesses; having held various asset management, business development, sales and marketing, and production leadership roles in Europe and Africa. In 2011, Mr Njoku became business advisor to the upstream international director before assuming the role of president director general and country chair of Shell Gabon in 2013. He was executive vice president of production support and excellence in 2016 and became vice president of East (Australia) in January 2020.
In May 2023, Mr Njoku became the chief executive of Arrow Energy, Shell’s joint venture with PetroChina.
Mr Njoku holds a First Class degree in International Business and Marketing, and an MBA from the Warwick Business School.
