Gningala Yarran-Mark is a qualified lawyer with a Master of Business Leadership and Bachelor of Science in Indigenous Australian Research Methodologies. She has a successful career holding management positions in Western Australian resources companies. In 2015, Ms Yarran-Mark became the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander coordinator at UGL, where she coordinates the company’s commitments under its Reconciliation Action Plan. She also held similar roles at Jacobs, Sinclair Knight Merz and BHP in similar roles. Ms Yarran-Mark was also an associate to Justice French at the Federal Court, the first Aboriginal law graduate in Western Australia to attain such a position, and a public prosecutor for the Western Australian Department of Public Prosecutions.
