Goal setting high on Matera agenda
The Matera brothers are quietly going about their business, building partnerships and mentoring indigenous youth.
Gerry Matera is a prominent Noongar entrepreneur.
Mr Matera is involved in multiple businesses as founder, owner or director. These include catering & foods services business Gather Foods (est in 2016), security services company Eon Protection (est 2017) and Indigenous Defence Services (est 2022). Collectively employing over 140 people.
He has previously held director roles with construction and maintenance company Marawar (2018-2023), and electrical contracting and renewable energy company Boya Energy (2018-2023). Mr Matera, continues to hold a 35% stake in Boya Electrical.
