George Sartorel is a globally experienced insurance CEO with extensive operational, business and technology expertise spanning property, casualty, health, life insurance and asset management.
In an extensive career at Allianz, Mr Sartorel worked across a large variety of roles & countries. He has also led countries and regions of scale and formed strategic alliances. Mr Sartorel began his career as chief general manager of Allianz Australia. Before becoming its Asia Pacific chief executive, he was chief executive of Allianz Italy and Allianz Turkey. He was chair of Allianz Asia advisory council and a member of the Allianz Australia Group.
Mr Sartorel was also a director of BIMA and a member of the Financial Centre Advisory Panel (Monetary Authority of Singapore).
