Geoff Gander graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1984 where he completed a Bachelor of Commerce Degree. He has a corporate background across a range of industry sectors including technology, oil & gas. He held a range of executive and non-executive director roles with listed ASX (and AIM) companies over the past 13 years.
Mr Gander worked exclusively in the technology sector from 1986 to 2004 where he held sales and management roles at IBM and was involved in growing an electronic payments startup into a world leader in its field, playing a pivotal role in taking the company public in 1994. IIn 2004, Mr Gander began working with companies within a wider range of industry sectors. His work was predominantly focused on developing and implementing business strategies that resulted in these companies achieving an initial public offering or (if already listed) going through a major financial recapitalisation.
He is chair and chief executive of the ASX/KASE listed Jupiter Energy, an oil exploration and production company with assets in Kazakhstan.
