Rob Casamento has become the managing partner of accounting firm BDO Perth, taking the role from Geoff Brayshaw.
Geoff Brayshaw AM practiced as a Chartered Accountant for 35 years. His area of expertise was primarily in audit and assurance including corporate finance.
Mr Brayshaw was an audit partner with a large international accounting firm until he retired in June 2005. He held a number of positions in commerce and with professional bodies including as national president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2002, independent director and audit committee chair of AVEA Insurance, board member of the Small Business Development Corporation, and former chair of a Trustee Company of an Aboriginal Corporation.
In 2007, Mr Brayshaw was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia.
